Q. What are your policies around children in the Library during COVID-19?

Answer

Families visiting the library with children should stay together. Children ages 8 and younger must be kept within arm’s reach of their adult caregiver at all times. This allows more families to visit while still adhering to the Library’s capacity limitations and social distancing guidelines set by the Santa Clara County Department of Public Health.

To keep patrons and staff safe, properly worn face coverings (covering both mouth and nose) are required for all patrons above the age of 2 years. We are following the current guidelines released by the CDC and the County of Santa Clara.
